TOMATIN 15 Years Old 2006 The Port Edition Portuguese Collection

Following on from the popular French Collection, Tomatin’s Portuguese Collection contains three whiskies all distilled on 8 September 2006. After 8 years of maturation, the three were separated into different types of casks which formerly held Portuguese wines and finished for a further 7 years. The Port Edition starts full of dark-fruit notes including blackberries, raspberries and cherries, which then turn into peach and apricot on the finish.

TASTING NOTES:
Sweet aromas of marmalade, honey and salted caramel with a hint of citrus balance perfectly with ginger and star anise on the palate. A sweet whisky with a long, dessert wine finish.
