Another Ji-whisky, ideal for those who’d like to explore the whole world of Japanese whisky. The Togouchi is a blended whisky from Chugoku Jozo. Matured in a tunnel that is quite unusual, it is a blend of premium Scottish malt and Canadian grain, with original Japanese whisky added as well. A very interesting product!
Tasting notes:
Nose: Firstly delicate and elegant notes with sweet notes of fruits appear. Secondly fresh notes with spices and citrus develop
Palate: Mellow and smooth. Sweet notes of vanilla make smoky peat notes mild
Finish: Bitter chocolate and nuts notes and sweetness carry on
