Taste:
Characterized by a very cold winter followed by extremely high temperatures from late spring to early summer; this lead to an accelerated increase of sugar rate and a decrease of grape weight. Then, temperatures dramatically decreased therefore slowing down the ripening cycle on the vine; as a result are very fruity and aromatic, with an acidity found typically when the end of the summer growing season is cooler. This wine is rated 89 Points by Wine Spectator.
This wine is in intense garnet red with spicy notes stand out over smoked notes. Great intensity of ripe fruits such as currant and sour cherry. Hints of white pepper highlight its aromatic frame. Ripe, rounded, with typical varietal austerity and firm tannins.
