The powerful Lucente Toscana from Tenuta Luce glides into the glass with a dense purple color. Swirling the glass, this red wine reveals a high level of density and richness, which can be seen in the stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. The first nose of Lucente Toscana reveals black cherries, morello cherries and plums. The fruity notes of the bouquet are joined by walnut, toasted hazelnut and roasted almond.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully fleshy and dense. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, the Lucente Toscana has a pleasant mouthfeel without lacking freshness. The finish of this red wine from the Tuscany wine-growing region, which has good ageing potential, impresses with a lovely lingering finish. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the sandstone-dominated soils.
