Bold and opulent with amazing fruit clarity, this is everything and more for those in love with a fuller expression of Shiraz. Another impressive release from the team at St Hallett. Faith delivers blackberry and raspberry fruit in good measure, while cedary oak plays a minor role and the tannins are fine and elegant.
The Linder family established St Hallett Winery in 1944. For over 70 years they have built a reputation as specialists in Barossa Shiraz. The team at St Hallett, headed up by Stuart Blackwell and Toby Barlow, have done a fantastic job with this shiraz, choosing the best grapes from the vineyards to create a wine that is lush with great depth of flavour. The combination of dark cherry and juicy raspberry combine to create an exciting shiraz with a smooth finish.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Bright and fresh yet rich and brooding, Faith is the hallowed product of beloved old Barossan vines.
Palate: Red fruit, plums and dark berries combine amid the generous and complex palate. Pepper spice combines with baking spice complimenting the ripe fruit and rich tannins
