Les Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), or DBR (Lafite), is a large wine group headed by Baron Eric de Rothschild of the world-renowned Rothschild winemaking dynasty. The company owns approximately 1200 hectares (2965 acres) of vineyards spanning Bordeaux and beyond – namely Languedoc-Roussillon, Argentina and Chile.
The Cognac Lafite Rothschild was originally intended for the Rothschild family. It is an exceptional, unmistakable distillate, created 100% from Borderies cognacs from 1900 to 1920 . It has a powerful, distinctive style, reminiscent of Cognac style in the Victorian era, the renowned wine author Michael Broadbent. For Cognac Connaisseurs a dream
