“La Tâche” 2007 made by the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is one of the best wines from the estate. Highly praised by wine critic Robert Parker, since he gave this bottle a 96/100. This wine is ideal for all your mushroom recipes, roasted rib of beef, game dishes, or aged cheeses. It can be enjoyed now to experience its peak, but it also has the potential to age in the cellar for another good fifteen years, offering further evolution over time.
Tasting note: An intensely floral, ultra-fresh, spicy nose combines notes of various red berries, Asian-style tea and wisps of sandalwood. There is moderately good density to the delicious and intensely mineral-driven medium-bodied flavours that possess excellent delineation on the driving and still somewhat youthfully austere finish.
