Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the pinnacle of the Johnnie Walker Whisky stable. Created to reflect the the style of whiskies of the early 19th century, it is created using the rarest casks in House of Walker, the largest in the world. The casks are hand selected and set aside for their exceptional quality, character and flavour while retaining the signature smokiness of Johnnie Walker whiskies.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is one of the most expensive and rarest blended whiskies available in the world. A honey-colored whisky with a spicy, smoky fragrance. The first sip is surprisingly sweet and honeyed, then the smoke gently creeps in like fog at dawn, softly surrounding the edges of the tongue giving way to a luxuriously long, warming, smoky finish. Best served neat, along with an ice-cold water to enhance its powerful character.
TASTING NOTES:
Aroma: Take in the wonderfully mellow, rounded nose – replete with dry smokiness artfully mixed with the sweetness of raisins.
Palate: Serving a velvety combination of vanilla, honey and rose petals – before broadening out to include a zesty orange flavour with notes of hazelnut, sherry and dark chocolate.
Finish: Signing off with a rich and luxuriously long finish, which showcases Johnnie Walker’s trademark smokiness in the most sophisticated way.
