La Parde Haut-Bailly 2013 is the second wine of Château Haut-Bailly, located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation in the Bordeaux region. Made from the same plots as the fisrt wine Château Haut-Bailly, La Parde Haut-Bailly is vinified identically. La Parde Haut-Bailly, first produced in 1967, has been renamed to Haut-Bailly.II from the 2018 vintage. It is a true “Second Wine” and among the first of its kind. Created from grapes grown upon the same soils, sorted with the same care and vinified with the same expertise as the Grand Vin, it conveys the pleasure and characteristic refinement of Haut-Bailly. Its expressions require less time to fully reveal themselves, allowing it to be enjoyed sooner.
Tasting notes:
The nose releases aromas of berries, cherries, raspberries with floral and spicy notes. Elegant and tasty, the palate is slightly full-bodied with fine, silky tannins. A light and delicate vintage with crisp acidity and a lively finish.
