Dom Pérignon Brut Vintage 2017 is a highly unique and incredibly rare champagne. Due to severe weather in 2017—including a harsh spring frost and heavy late-August rains—the crop yields in Champagne were heavily impacted. As a result, the production volume for the 2017 vintage is roughly only 15% of a normal year, making it an instant target for collectors worldwide.
- The Nose: It opens with bright aromas of jasmine, white peach, and ripe pomegranate. It quickly evolves into Dom Pérignon’s signature notes of smoky flint, toasted almonds, brioche, and a wet-stone (petrichor) minerality.
- The Palate: The wine feels fleshy and substantial on the tongue. It offers a beautiful tension between subtle bitterness, sharp acidity, and a creamy texture. You will taste hints of roasted pineapple, citrus peel, and a distinctly savory, salty mineral finish
