Critic tasting note: (2021 vintage) “In true Penfolds style, this is a dense, tightly coiled bottling of RWT that’s made for tomorrow. A dark chocolate and toasted spice oak note is threaded between rich, concentrated blackberry and black plum, licorice and bay leaf aromas. The mouthfeel is equally powerful, packed with dark fruit flavors and fine, chiseled tannins. It could age for decades. Just don’t touch it until at least 2026.” – 95/100
