Moillard is a historic Burgundian négociant house located in the Côte d’Or. The domaine has land in the Côte de Nuits and in the Côte de Beaune, with half of production at the Premier Cru level. Moillard produces a range of wines in Burgundy from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté.
Tasting notes:
Taste: Deliciously fresh and creamy, this wine rolls around the mouth with its smooth, ripe texture. There are flavors of almonds, some toast from wood, and just enough acidity. The aftertaste is soft.
Nose: When young this wine has roasted and lemony notes, which will merge over time to gain complexity and give way to more subtle notes of white flowers like jasmine and hawthorn.
Palate: The palate is incredibly rich and powerful, balanced and distinguished.
