The Château Valandraud 2024 is a standout from the Saint-Émilion En Primeur campaign, characterized by high-octane intensity balanced with lower alcohol and refreshing acidity despite a difficult growing season. It is currently being offered as a “pre-arrival” (En Primeur), with physical bottles expected to be delivered around August 2027.
- Aromatics: Intense perfume of chocolate-covered black raspberries, violets, espresso, and mocha.
- Palate: High-octane and “arresting” from the first sip, featuring layers of strawberry, cranberry, and creamy raspberry over a mineral backbone of slate and graphite.
- Aging: Matured for 18 to 22 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
