Chateau Figeac 2004

Expert tasting note: (2004 vintage) “Deep, dark ruby-red color. Fruit aromas are very restrained, toasty oak & graphite coming to the fore. Initially the fruit on the palate is plummy & supported by fresh acidity. On the mid-palate concentrated, over-mature dark fruit takes over from the fresher notes on the attack. Supple but fine tannins provide good grip. Alcohol is balanced & the finish has good length.” – 11/08 DCAMW
