ABERLOUR 14 Year Old Double Cask Matured is a single cask offering that was matured in an ex-bourbon barrel. It’s a light and fruity Speyside dram that has been released for the Asian market, making it hard to get your hands on anywhere else, except here at Whisky Foundation. The whisky brings notes of poached pears, orchard fruits and freshly cut grass to the table. These are joined by soft butterscotch, melted caramel and a yet more fresh fruits that bring a certain juiciness to the dram. With only 240 bottles released, quantities are very limited.
